Volunteers needed:  Civic Empowerment for Youth & Families

Friday, September 12, 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Coolidge High School (6315 5th Street, NW) - Atrium


At this event, participants will:
  • Learn what forms of identification are available and how to obtain them*
  • Access youth- and family-focused civic empowerment resources
  • Register to vote and learn about noncitizen voting and DC Statehood
  • Get help with Kids Ride Free transit cards and DC One Cards
  • Connect with local elected officials and community organizations
*This is not legal advice. Volunteers will support participants in understanding available IDs, eligibility requirements, and next steps, and can help develop an action plan for obtaining IDs.
