Promote DC Statehood at the LWVUS Council - Volunteers Needed for AM Slot
About this event
In odd-numbered years, LWVUS hosts a national council for state and other League leaders. During Council, leaders receive training, discuss League priorities, and have the opportunity to network. The LWVDC will have a table at registration where volunteers will help pass out materials and talk with leaders about DC's unique governing structure, the importance of respecting our Home Rule Charter, and DC Statehood. The 2025 Council will take place at the National Conference Center, 18665 Conference Center Drive Leesburg, VA 20176. To volunteer, you must be an active member of LWVDC and must login to your LWVDC account to register for volunteering sessions.
