About this event
LWVDC is hosting a covered table at the DC Capital Pride Festival. Volunteers are needed to talk to attendees about DC statehood, voter registration, and voter education. Volunteers will be also passing out pride and DC statehood-themed friendship bracelets and bracelet kits.
Table and chairs will be provided for this event. Free water stations are also available at the festival and vendors will be around for attendees to purchase food and drinks. This event takes place from 12:00pm - 7:00pm and this volunteer shift is from 2:00pm - 5:00pm.
