Hubbard Place - Voter Registration Oct 7
About this event
Voter Registration: The Hubbard Place Apartments provide 230 units of accessible housing, in Adams Morgan. About 80% of the population is Ethiopian or Eritrean. We will hold a voter education/registration activity on the premises as a pilot action for outreach to the Ethiopian Community. Most of the tenants speak Amharic or Tigrinya as their primary language so the Buildings Community Coordinator has agreed to seek volunteer translators, who could help with registration.
To volunteer, you must have completed the online voter registration training. To access the voter registration training, click on this link: Voter Registration Training. Please remember to click on the "verify" button at the end of the training so we know that you have completed it.
