LWVDC volunteers will visit D.C. public high school classrooms where American University Law School Marshall-Brennan fellows teach civics and constitutional law. Our volunteers will engage the students on voting -- how to register, ways to engage their peers in voting, how to get information about candidates and the issues, and the impact of not being a state on voting in D.C. We need volunteers for each event. Training is required for volunteers in advance. To sign up for training sessions and to volunteer, you must be an active member of LWVDC and must login to your LWVDC account to register for both training and volunteering sessions.
