DC Emancipation Day Celebration - April 14th on Freedom Plaza, sponsored by Mayor Bowser, with parade, live music concert, tables for community groups, food trucks and fireworks at night. The parade features DC Vote GoGo truck with statehood supporters following it. LWVDC will have a table with materials on DC Statehood and how to vote in Washington DC. We will set up next to DC Vote's coloring canvas.
