Join us for D.C. Women's Strike

Women’s Strike 2024 is an intersectional movement dedicated to the fight for equal rights, reproductive freedom, and an end to gender-based violence. LWVUS will have a speaker there, along with leaders from other women's organizations. LWVDC members and friends are welcome to join us. Participants are invited to meet outside the Supreme Court of the United States (1 First Street NE, Washington, DC) to hold a peaceful demonstration in an effort to spread awareness about equal rights, reproductive rights, and an end to gender-based violence. Peacefully stand with us, brings friends and signs! This is part of the nationwide Women Strike! All women, feminists, and allies are welcome to strike with us.
