Postcard Party for DC Bottle Bill

As part of the DC Return, Refund and Recycle Coalition's (3R4DC) postcard blitz, LWVDC has committed to send 100 postcards in support of the bill when Councilmember Nadeau introduces it this fall. The Bottle Bill will reduce plastic waste in our rivers, creeks, and neighborhoods by charging a deposit on all bottles which can later be refunded with the return of bottles. Light refreshments will be served.
