About this event

Join the League of Women Voters DC and East Rock Creek Village to help clean up the streets around the DC Fire Department’s Engine Co. No. 22 at Butternut & Georgia Ave, NW. It's a great way to get involved in community action, do some civic education, and relax over pizza with fellow volunteers when we’re through. Volunteers may sit at the LWV/DC information table talking with participants and providing registration and voting information. . Assist with the trash pickup. Enjoy lunch together after the cleanup at Ledo Pizza, 7435 Georgia Ave, NW, Thanks to generous contributions from our sponsors. This event is part of the week of community cleanups in DC (April 11th-19th) lead by Erin Palmer. Community Service hours are offered for students.

NOTE: If you desire to participate in education and clean-up no training is necessary. If you want to be prepared for possible voter registrations, then voter registration training is required.
