Join us for a discussion on the Federal Judiciary Study materials with legal experts from our LWVDC membership!
During this Zoom event, we’ll be providing a forum for members to ask questions about the study materials and to gain insight in preparation for our consensus meeting. No expertise is needed to participate in any part of the study process - just a willingness to consider the issues and share your point of view.

About the Federal Judiciary Study
In summer 2024, the League of Women Voters voted to embark on League-wide one-year study on the federal judiciary, with a focus on judicial accountability, transparency, independence, and ethics.
On April 5, the League of Women Voters of the District of Columbia will be hosting our Federal Judiciary Study consensus meeting. During this meeting, LWVDC members will assess our sense of agreement, via consensus processes, with key study questions/prompts posed by the national study committee. We ask that members review the relevant policy briefs prior to the consensus meeting!
To ease our study process, the national study committee has prepared the resources for our review. You can find all information about the study here, and access the prepared policy briefs below.
